Orders can be picked up or sent nationwide in New Zealand. Orders can be paid for by credit card for pick up, or for orders being shipped, you can complete the order and the invoice for payment will be sent after the freight cost has been calculated. After receiving the invoice with the freight cost, you can decide if you wish to go ahead with the order, or cancel it. Once payment has been received, we will send your order. We send plant orders Monday to Wednesday.

Eucalyptus rodwayi (Peppermint Swamp Gum)
Peppermint Swamp Gum, from Tasmania, a versatile Eucalytus, very frost tolerant (minus 20), makes an excellent shelter belt, will coppice.
A fast growing tree with a tall, dense crown. Holds its lower limbs. making an excellent shelter tree and is very frost tolerant.. Will tolerate both drought and wet soils. Leaves have a peppermint smell when crushed. . Creamy-white flowers from March-June are great for bees. Evergreen. Tolerates cold and wet sites. Responds well to pruning, used in the South island for shelter belts.
This eucalyptus is resilient to poor growing conditions, has a vigorous nature and responds well to coppicing practices. Similarly anyone with a spare piece of ground, small holding or farm can utilise E. rodwayi to produce a crop of hardwood firewood logs with very high calorific value, in a relatively short period of time: 5-8 years from planting
